These Terms of Service govern your use of the bestpragueguide.com website and the booking of services provided by Best Prague Guide.

Booking and Confirmation

Submitting a booking request does not constitute a confirmed booking. Your booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of an official confirmation from us. We reserve the right to decline booking requests subject to availability.

Pricing and Payment

Prices for all services are listed on the relevant tour or experience page. Full details of what is included in the price are provided on each individual tour or experience page.

Payment is accepted in the following ways:

Online in advance by card via Stripe (secure payment link sent after booking confirmation)
Cash on the day of the tour (EUR, USD or Czech koruna)

In a number of cases we ask for a prepayment:

bookings for 8 or more guests;
bookings of three or more tours on the same or overlapping dates;
between 20 December and 2 January;
from Good Friday to Easter Monday;
on 1 and 8 May and the weekends adjoining them;
between 1 June and 31 August;
when no more than one guide remains available on your chosen date;
bookings made more than six months before the tour date;
you did not attend a tour you had booked;
the price includes entrance tickets;
the tour includes transport;
rescheduling of a confirmed booking to another date;
the tour price is 300 EUR or more, or the equivalent in another currency.

The prepayment may amount to up to 100% of the tour price. We tell you the amount and the deadline when we confirm your booking — before it becomes final. Payment is due within 24 hours of receiving the payment link. If the tour starts in less than 24 hours, payment is due within two hours of receiving the link. If payment is not received in time, the booking is not confirmed.

A prepayment is arranged by mutual agreement — we do not impose it unilaterally. You are free to decline a prepayment and cancel your request at no cost and without any obligation on your part. If a prepayment is not made, we cannot guarantee your booking.

Ticketed experiences with a fixed seat — river cruises, dinner shows and similar — are always prepaid by card and have their own cancellation terms.

Withdrawal and cancellation

Our tours are provided at an agreed date and time, so the statutory 14-day right to withdraw from an online purchase does not apply to them. Cancellation and rescheduling are possible on the terms of our cancellation policy.

Liability

Best Prague Guide provides professional services with due care and attention. We are not liable for circumstances beyond our control, including adverse weather conditions, public transport disruptions, attraction closures or other force majeure events.

We strongly recommend that all guests arrange travel insurance before their trip.

Participant Conduct

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a tour in the event of disrespectful or dangerous behaviour by participants. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. However, if you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you also enjoy the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence, in accordance with Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I). A consumer may bring proceedings either before the courts of the Member State of their domicile or before the courts of the place where the provider is established (Articles 17 to 19 of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012).

Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution

We operate in the Czech Republic. The competent body for the out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), adr.coi.cz. Consumers resident in other European Union countries may seek assistance from the European Consumer Centre in their country.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our website and services constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
